GOLF CART TOUR + VATICAN TOUR
Spend three hours touring around Rome with your driver guide.
Only for you!
This will be your private tour, therefore, to avoid overlapping and repetition with places you have already seen or that you would have planned to see on another tour, your itinerary is not preset. Let your guide know your preferences and he/she will design the best tour possible.
However, we have a suggested themed itinerary on our website, but these too are customizable and can be changed to suit your wishes. Your tour will end at our front office around 1pm or 1:30pm.
Meet your guide and tour the Vatican.
After a quick lunch break, you’ll meet your specialized private guide and enter the Vatican around 2:00 or 2:30 pm.
Your guide will have your skip-the-line voucher and will take care of the entry formalities. Your guide will provide extensive commentary during the tour of the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel.
Your tour of the Vatican
During your long walk through the galleries, you will see many paintings, tapestries, frescoes, and statues dating from different eras and made by different artists, not always tied to religion. You’ll also see ancient Roman statues, Egyptian, Etruscan, and Greek artifacts.
It is a walk that you will enjoy!
You will finally arrive at the Sistine Chapel.
After spending time in the Sistine Chapel, you’ll walk towards the exit. You’ll be in the same buildings you walked through on your way to the Chapel, but on a lower level and you’ll be seeing more art. At the end of this tour, you will be on your own. You can call a taxi or Uber back to your hotel or book your transfer with us.
St. Peter’s Basilica
Dear guest, our tour of the Vatican has traditionally included the Vatican Museums, the Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica.
However, due to the large numbers of pilgrims visiting Rome for the Holy Year, there may be challenges in including the Basilica in the tour this year.
We will make every effort to keep it part of the Vatican tour, but it may not always be possible. Occasionally, the Basilica may be closed without prior notice or used for special ceremonies. In such cases, entry may still be permitted, but guides may not be allowed to speak and provide explanations.
We apologize in advance to those who may not be able to visit the Basilica.
